Established in 2001, Northwoods Rustic Creations is located in Marquette, Michigan in the heart of the Upper Peninsula. Steve Uren is the artist and sole creator of all products.
You may wonder why the name Northwoods "Rustic" Creations - since Steve's work isn't really rustic. The name shows how his work and business has evolved over the past five years. Originally Steve's work was quite rustic featuring log furniture. Over time the business has grown and his work has changed to be more contemporary. We're sure it will continue to grow and change in coming years.

Steve also specializes in original, custom-created pieces of furniture and art designed to fit your home and needs. Beds, dressers, desks, tables and hutches are some types of work he has done in the past.
This is a small, independently owned shop. No assembly lines or mass-produced materials will be found here. Each piece of furniture or artwork is an original - from the design to the hand-crafted creation process.
